Introduction

Welcome to Very Clever Cooking!

I love to cook. I’ve been doing it as far back as I can remember, and even back in the day when all it involved was boiling some water and throwing in a box of macaroni, I liked doing it. Cooking can be fun, easy, and very rewarding.

And despite what you might think, you can do it!

It’s so much easier than you think!

You won’t ever be likely to be a 3 star Michelin chef, but if you’re a beginner and you follow my blog, I’ll guide you through how to make some of the best, most delicious foods you’ve ever tasted! How do I know I can do this? Because I’m doing it in real life.

I have a friend who is in her mid-twenties and had almost no cooking experience prior to meeting me. Over the last year, she’s learned how to make homemade bread, shepherd’s pie, homemade burgers, homemade french fries, and so much more! I’ve taught her a lot of the basics, and she’s enjoyed every minute of it.

I hope you will, too. Whether you’re an expert cook or a total newb, I hope you find something here that interests you!

Now normally most people would end this sort of introduction by saying bon appetit, but I am not most people. So there.
